Our Work
The Education Alliance for New Hampshire is the state’s backbone organization advancing cradle-to-career pathways that connect students, families, schools, colleges, and employers, especially in rural and under-resourced communities.
What we do
Programs
The Education Alliance for New Hampshire collaborates with a wide range of national and local partners who help enhance and expand the innovative programs we offer students. These partnerships advance our goal of improving educational outcomes for all New Hampshire students. Our member colleges and universities also serve as key collaborators, warmly welcoming students to their campuses and providing meaningful opportunities for engagement.
Our work centers on three priorities: Cradle to Career Systems, Rural Initiatives, and Place-Based Programming.
These priorities are grounded in a decade of experience administering federal grants in New Hampshire. Over the past ten years, the Education Alliance of New Hampshire has operated several federal grants, including GEAR UP (Gaining Early Awareness and Readiness for Undergraduate Programs), the Statewide Family Engagement Center (SFEC), Rural Postsecondary Economic Development (RPED), and other congressionally directed funding. In September 2025, the U.S. Department of Education prematurely terminated both the New Hampshire GEAR UP and SFEC grants.
